My heart is aching for you.

My friend who lost her job and feels like her life is falling apart and is finding every bit of strength just to breath.

My friend who has been diagnosed with cancer again. Who tries to be strong for everyone else. Who keeps standing up again and again and again but is now tired.

My friend that has to work 2 jobs to support her family. Who has to be strong for everyone but feels alone.

My friend with the special needs child and the world on her shoulders. Who feels misunderstood and rejected. Who has so much pain but tries to hide it behind a smile.

My friend who lost her Dad in a horrible way when she was way too young. Who still misses him every day.

My friend who keeps falling for the wrong men. Who feels unworthy and unloved.

My friend who thinks it’s her job to make her children happy all the time by giving them what they want. Who has everything but has such anxiety that she is self-medicating just to make it through the day.

If my heart is aching for you, how much more is God’s heart aching for you?  You may feel alone, but know that you are not alone.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Psalm 34:18 NIV

“From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”
